Additional Information: A soft and chewy candy covered in sour sugar is known as Sour Patch Kids. “Sour then sweet” describes how, after popping one into your mouth, you’ll initially be assaulted by the harshness of the coating before realising that it gives way to the wonderful fruit-flavoured (and kid-shaped!) gummy candy. These individually wrapped Kids come in the same assortment of colours and flavours as the usual pieces you’d find in a mixed-flavour bag, but they are larger. Lemon, lime, orange, and redberry flavours are all present. Also offered in individual parts. Because of its popularity, Sour Patch is now offered in a wide variety of flavours. It first found appeal at movie theatres, where it has now become a standard.
